Fundraising for Dachshund Charities

As many as 1 in 4 Dachshunds may be affected by IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease) during their lifetime.  Here at Devoted to Dachshunds, we have a very personal interest in IVDD as our late, and dearly missed boy, Jonny, was a sufferer. This year we will be selling these lovely Christmas cards, card and pin badge sets, tea towels and socks to raise funds for both research into IVDD and towards rehabilitation of those dogs affected by this cruel disease. The money raised will be split between two great causes, ‘Dedicated to Dachshunds with IVDD’ and the research into IVDD being undertaken by The Dachshund Breed Council.  Devoted to Dachshunds Ltd funds the production of the cards, tea towels and socks so that every penny raised from the sales of these items will go to these causes – the cards cost £5 per pack and therefore for every pack sold the whole £5 will be donated.  The tea towels are £10, and the entire purchase price will be donated to the two charities. The cards and pin badges cost £4.50 and the socks cost £6 and every penny will be donated. In addition, we are now selling the beautiful ‘Got Your Back Card’, and our very own Match A Dax card game. The entire purchase price from these items will be donated to the charities.  For more information about IVDD, please visit http://www.dachshund-IVDD.uk 
I have recently become aware of the terrible dog meat trade in Asia and the Charity DMT DRSG `Dog Meat Trade Dachshund Rescue & Support Group’ which rescues Dachshund destined for this terrible fate. To this end, the entire purchase price of signs, Christmas decorations and notebooks in this category will be donated to this Charity
